You can save time and keep your contact database organized in GetroConnect by using bulk actions. Bulk actions let you update, organize, or remove large groups of contacts all at once.
Why Bulk Actions Are Helpful
GetroConnect serves as a centralized repository for contacts from across your organization.
Contacts can be added from multiple sources, including:
Talent Network sign-ups
LinkedIn Sync (yours and your colleagues’)
Direct imports (CSV)
Adding individuals from LinkedIn profiles via the extension
Once your contacts are in GetroConnect, bulk actions help you organize and manage them efficiently.
How to Use Bulk Actions
1. Search or Filter Contacts
Apply a search or filter to find the group you want to manage.
Example: Search for “Sales” to find all contacts with sales-related titles.
2. Select Contacts
Click the checkbox to select all contacts in your filtered results.
The bulk action toolbar will appear at the bottom of your screen.
3. Choose a Bulk Action
a. Add to a List
Add selected contacts to an existing list, or
Create a new static list (note: static lists will not auto-update).
b. Bulk Tag
Add an existing tag to all selected contacts, or create a new tag (e.g., “Sales Leaders”).
c. Export Contacts
Export the selected contacts to a CSV file.
You’ll receive the file via email within a few minutes.
d. Delete Contacts
Permanently remove selected contacts from GetroConnect.
Important: Deleted contacts cannot be recovered.
Example: Tagging All Sales Leaders
Search for “Sales” in the contacts view.
Select all filtered contacts.
Click Bulk Tag and add “Sales Leaders.”
All selected contacts will now have this tag applied.
Tip: Use bulk actions after importing or syncing new contacts to quickly sort them into lists, apply tags, or remove outdated entries.
