Job rules: Curating your job board

Getro keeps your job board up to date by extracting all jobs for each company in your network. Depending on your target audience, you may want to display only certain jobs on your job board, for example only jobs in Canada, or only jobs that mention “product” in their title. During your Getro onboarding, you can specify job rules to curate which jobs are shown on your job board.

Types of job rules

Job location

For location rules, you can provide Getro with one or more locations (including "Remote") to curate the jobs on your job board. Types of locations include city, county, state, country.

If location rules apply, your job board will only display jobs with a location within your defined location rules.

Job title
For job title rules, you can provide Getro with a list of job title keywords to curate the jobs on your job board.

Show jobs
Only jobs that contain certain keywords in their job title will be displayed on your job board.

Hide jobs
Jobs that contain certain keywords in their title will not be displayed on your job board.

Keywords can be one word such as “product” or multiple words such as "sales engineer". Show and hide rules can be combined to provide a more complex curation scheme. For example, show all the jobs with "product" in their title and hide those that use "product support" in their title.
