Often, when a person is searching for a job, they probably won't find the perfect opportunity the first time they visit your job board. With job alerts, visitors to your job board now have the option to subscribe to receive the jobs most relevant to their search delivered daily to their inbox, keeping them engaged and more likely to check back for new opportunities.

How job seekers subscribe to job alerts

Job board visitors can either subscribe to alerts for any new jobs on your job board, or they can customize their job alerts by applying a search term or filter. There are two main ways users can sign up:

  1. Toggle "Get job alerts for this search"
    a. (Optionally) Utilize the search bar and filters to enter job search preferences, including keywords, job function, location, etc.
    b. Click "Get job alerts for this search” and enter an email address to subscribe.

  2. "Subscribe to new opportunities"
    Scroll through jobs until you reach the sign-up box, where an email address and job function preference can be entered to subscribe.

Subscribers receive one daily email which includes up to 10 new jobs from your job board, based on their selected job search preferences.

Network Admin Value

As a Network Admin, you will receive a job board engagement weekly update email, summarizing your job board traffic, clicks, and subscribers.

You can access your list of job alerts subscribers from the admin portal by visiting the Settings > Job board page and scrolling to “Job alerts subscribers export.”
