With Getro’s Zapier integration, you can automate the flow of data in and out of Getro—no coding or API knowledge required. Zapier connects Getro to over 7,000 apps, allowing you to streamline tasks such as exporting jobs to a Google Sheet, importing contacts from your CRM, or sending new sign-ups directly to your database.
1. Connect Getro to Zapier
Generate an API Key in Getro
In your Getro dashboard, go to Settings → API Keys.
Click Create API Key.
Copy your new API key.
Set up Zapier
Create a Zapier account (if you don’t already have one).
In Zapier, create a new Zap.
When prompted to choose an app, search for Getro (it’s now publicly available in Zapier).
Paste your Getro API key to connect your account.
2. Choose a Trigger or Action
Getro’s Zapier integration supports both importing and exporting data:
Import Contacts into Getro
Bring contacts from other tools (e.g., Airtable form submissions, CRM records in HubSpot or Affinity) into your Getro Talent Network.Required: LinkedIn URL (unique identifier).
Export Data from Getro
Find New Jobs – pull jobs from your Getro job board (e.g., for newsletters or internal analytics in Tableau).
Find New Contacts – capture new sign-ups from your Getro Talent Network.
Find Deactivated Jobs – track job status changes.
3. Add Filters (Optional but Recommended)
After selecting a trigger, choose your specific network.
Apply filters to narrow results (e.g., only pull Software Engineering roles).
If no filters are applied, Zapier will pull all jobs.
4. Understand the Data Limits
Zapier pulls a maximum of 100 results per page.
If you expect more than 100 results in a single run, use Zapier’s Looping feature to retrieve additional pages (see Retrieve More Than 100 Jobs Using Looping in Zapier for details).
Adjust your trigger schedule (e.g., run weekly) to control how often data is pulled.
5. Send Your Data Anywhere
Once your Zap is set up, you can connect Getro data to thousands of apps, including:
Google Sheets
Email services (Gmail, Outlook, Mailchimp)
CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Affinity)
Analytics tools (Tableau, Looker)
You can also:
Format job titles with hyperlinks before sending them.
Combine multiple actions in a single Zap.
6. Test and Activate
Use Zapier’s Test function to confirm your setup works as expected.
Once tested, turn on your Zap to start automating your workflow.
