Retrieve More Than 100 Jobs Using Looping in Zapier

By default, Zapier pulls a maximum of 100 results from Getro per page. Use Zapier’s Looping feature to automatically retrieve all jobs in one run.

1. When to Use Looping

Looping is helpful if:

  • You have more than 100 active jobs in your network.

  • You want all jobs pulled at once for analytics, archiving, or full sync.

If you run Zaps often and rarely exceed 100 jobs, looping may not be necessary.

2. Prepare Your Getro Trigger

  1. Create a new Zap.

  2. Choose the Getro app and select Find New Jobs.

  3. Connect your Getro account with your API key.

  4. Select your network.

  5. Apply optional filters to target specific jobs.

3. Add Looping by Zapier

  1. After your Getro trigger, add a new step.

  2. Search for and select Looping by Zapier.

  3. Set it to loop over a number sequence (e.g., 1, 2, 3...) where each number represents a results page.

  4. Pass the loop number into the “Page” field of your Getro job search.

4. Retrieve Additional Pages

Zapier will run your job search for each page, collecting more than 100 results by repeating the request with a different page number.

5. Combine All Results

  • Option 1: Send each page’s jobs directly to your destination (e.g., Google Sheets).

  • Option 2: Use a Formatter step to merge all pages into a single dataset before sending.

6. Test and Optimize

  • Test with a small number of loops first.

  • Increase loop count if you have more jobs.

  • Monitor your Zap task usage—looping increases the number of tasks.
